The Fireplace Auckland opened a branch in Dunedin many years ago initially in a very small showroom in St Andrew Street, subsequently moving to Princes Street for about 20 years until they again outgrew these premises, shifting to their current location at 58 King Edward Street. Robbie Gardiner initially began installing woodfires for The Fireplace which gave him a good background into the technical experience required, moving up the line to manage the branc, and finally becoming regional manager for The Fireplace for a number of years. Robbie and his wife Pam took over the The Fireplace in 2010 making it a locally owned and operated business. They are now agents for The Fireplace Auckland who are the importers of niche products Gazco, Studio and Jetmaster. Along with their extensive range of wood and gas fires they are also exclusive agents for Warmington, Firenzo and are premier agents for our locally renowned escea gas fires. They have the largest range of wood, gas, electric, pellet, heat pump, bbq, spas and outdoor living in Otago - beautifully showcased in their stunning new showroom.
